What is  a lash lift you ask?

A lash lift is a semi-permanent treatment that enhances your natural lashes, making them look fuller and longer.There is minimal after care, good for short or long lashes, nourishing and conditioning. I use the Elleebana lash lift system, which takes half the time to process, so about 40 minutes with a tint. The Elleebana lash lift is the best in the industry. The solution is gentle, yet effective. It contains keratin, which helps strengthen the lashes. This process is very simple and even relaxing too! I attach a small silicon rod on the lash line, lift the lashes on the rod, apply the lash perm, apply the setting lotion, then the tint. It’s that simple! The lift last for 6 to 8 weeks, even up to 12, depending on how you care for them.

Dermaplaning 101

What is Dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is the removal of the outermost layer of dead skin cells and vellus hair (peach fuzz). It is also highly effective in minimizing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and acne scarring, while leaving skin smooth, supple and vibrant. It creates the perfect smooth canvas for makeup application too! This blank canvas allows products and serums to penetrate deeper into the skin, showing great results.

Dermaplaning is performed with the use of a specialized sterile surgical instrument. After the skin is prepped, the Esthetician holds the skin taut, and gently scrapes the skin with the blade held at a 45 degree angle. An enzyme mask, as well as serum, moisturizer and SPF is applied after the dermaplaning. Read more

Cleanliness in Spas

I recently had 2 of my clients mention that they went somewhere else to get their faced waxed and they both broke out in a red itchy rash. They both stated that the tech double dipped in the wax, and didn’t cleanse their faces before or after. Why you should get a chemical peel

Fall is the best time to start a chemical peel series. Due to there is little to no sun, it makes a perfect environment to start. What is a chemical peel, and does it hurt? I get this question a lot. I use the PCA Sensi peel, which is very gentle, with no down time. The treatment starts with a client consult, along with skin care goals, expectations. It is a short treatment,takes about 20 minutes total. The PCA peel is self-neutralizing, so it stays on the face overnight, and then gets washed the following morning. The PCA Sensi peel contains TCA, which helps to improve fine lines and wrinkles, Kojic Acid to help promote an even skin tone, Azeliac Acid to promote a clear complexion and even out the skin tone. As well as Latic Acid, which is an AHA, naturally found in milk and sugars. It is part of the skins natural moisturizing  factor, which helps moisturize the skin.
