At Sova Skin Solutions, my number one concern is providing you with a safe and clean environment.
Read my cleaning protocol below.
- Disinfecting every touch surface, including door handles, between every client using a hospital grade disinfectant that kills anything within 1 minute.
- An air purifier is running durning your service that captures up to 99.97% of microscopic allergens, 0.3 microns and larger
- Wearing a surgical mask, gloves, and new apron with every client.
- All clients will use a hand sanitizer upon entering Sova Skin Solutions.
NEW CLIENT FACIAL
New clients please schedule the 60 or 90 minute facial. All facials include a consult, extractions if needed, a customized regimen, as well as professional skincare samples.
HOW TO PREP FOR A TREATMENT
5 days prior to your treatment stop use of:
- Retinol, tretinoin (vitamin A)
- Glycolic acid, lactic acid, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide
- Scrubs and exfoliating products
- Waxing/hair removal products
- Astringent pads
- Topical antibiotics, topical steroids
- Oral antibiotics must be stopped 7 days prior
- Active cold sores, open wounds are a contraindication.
REQUIREMENTS FOR CHEMICAL PEELS AND MICRONEEDLING
All new clients must schedule a facial to start. Clients interested in advanced treatments must prep their skin using the recommended professional products, and continue to use them to maintain their results at home, this includes SPF, year round. Advanced treatments are worked up to, as the goal is to achieve healthy skin to ensure optimal results!
POLICIES
Cancellation of an appointment
If you need to cancel, please do so 48 hours in advance. This allows your service provider to fill that appointment slot. Appointments canceled within 48 hours will be charged for 50% of the service. Clients whom reschedule twice, will be required to pay a 50% non-refundable fee in order to reschedule in the future. Please reach out if you are sick!
Late policy
If you show up 10 minutes late, your card on file will be charged for 50% of the service, and your appointment will be rescheduled.
No-show policy
A no-show is missing an appointment without contacting your service provider. This is an inconvenience to your service provider. Your on file credit card will be charged 100% of the service amount. Clients that have a no-show on their record, and would like to rebook, will be required to pay a 50% non refundable service fee.
Gift certificate policy
Gift certificates must be used within 1 year. They are non-transferable. GC will be redeemed for the full amount if the client no-shows for their appointment, and will be required to pay a 50% non refundable service deposit to rebook. GC clients will be held to all policies at Sova Skin Solutions.
